Last night I spent my time listening to a bunch of women talking about anal sex and a couple of porn stars on barebacking and pep. No, I did not join a sex club. I was listening to JOY 94.9. So how was your evening?
Where else but gay radio would you be able to hear porn stars having a serious discussion about safe sex. Sometimes I wonder how boring my life would be if I wasn’t gay. If I were straight I would have missed out on so much fun. Only in the gay world are you allowed to talk openly about sex like you were having tea and crumpets with the Queen.
Acclaimed American porn stars Steve Cruz and Bruno Bond were in the studio last night talking to DJs Tex and Jason. They’re in town to promote the launch of their 2010 Protection Calendar in conjunction with World AIDS Day. Hearing these guys talk, you would never guess that they work in the porn industry. They sounded really smart and like they really cared about what they were talking about.
There was this one moment when they expressed how surprised they were see a particularly graphic photo of them in the calendar, and how this would never be allowed in the US. Which is weird for a country with a billion dollar porn industry. They couldn’t even bring their own calendar back with them. And I thought the Australian customs was anal.
The beary sexy Steve Cruz and Bruno Bond will be partying at the Laird, Abbotsford TONIGHT at the launch of the 2010 Protection calendar. There’s also gonna be a premiere of their new film Hard Friction at Club 80 after that. Better catch em while you can before they head of to Sydney for World AIDS Day, happening Dec 1 this Wednesday in Taylor Square.
